How can I fix this? …How do I take how I really am and replace that with who you’d like me to be?

And I still keep on searching for happiness somewhere, anywhere, with anyone, by doing something or avoiding everything. I change who I am repeatedly until I no longer recognize myself.

“Call this a love letter, call it
Our Story,
unlike anyone else’s, but with threads
and adornments from the Great
Ones—the star-crossed fables, the fairy tales”
“My mind goes where my heart
dares not; feelings and logic;
tug-of-war.”
Claire’s powerful, evocative poem about discovering her boundaries, tearing free of dependence on others, and finding a deeper sense of self-acceptance.
A tender poem about loving, leaving, and healing after the breakup of a relationship.
