What am I looking for, bright screen?
Melt my time away.
Hours passed grazing everyone’s surface.
After looking at so many shells, I feel hollow.
Kindness makes me ache.
The way a small morsel of food can ignite my hunger,
So does the genuine smile you give.
I want warm faces and soft bodies,
The silk of skin against my fingertips.
Not these glowing renditions.
